I can’t stand the pain of stopping my love for you

I can’t stand this sadness I feel inside

My heart is deeply troubled and grieved

I fought it hard but look what it brought me now

It just brought me sorrow because I won’t let go

I love you like I never fallen for someone before

I love you but what God thinks about this matters to me too

I love you because when I’m with you it’s the time when I’m the happiest

I love you because I could just be me when I’m with you

I don’t know how, but you just bring out the best in me

I love you because the depth of my laughter is different when I’m with you

But most of all I love you because I see God in you

Days are not the same when I don’t see you

Days are now way greater because it just brings me so much joy when I’m with you

You just make it so visible in your life that God is real

You just awesomely display the love you have for God and His love for you

That passion you have for our God and King

That heart of yours that for Him you will do everything

That gentleness, meekness, and kindness

They just mirror God’s Holiness

At times I can’t look straight in your eyes

Because I don’t know until when will I have the strength to hide this feeling inside?

Until when will I be concealing the truth that I love you?

Until when will I pray that you won’t be discerning these feelings I have for you?

I’m taking the risk of being hurt

Because now I can not deny the fact that I’ve fallen for you

Until I don’t know yet what God’s purpose why I have this feeling towards you

I’ll patiently pray and wait for His will

Because we serve a God who perfectly knows everything

A God who feels what we feel

A God who sees beyond the outside

A God who knows well the desires of our hearts

And a God who knows what’s best for us

I won’t dare to be selfish and pray that it will be you and me

I can’t dare to hinder God’s best for you

For I know more than anyone else, God loves you more than I do

I pray that God would give me strength to smile if ever you’ll find the perfect one for you

I pray that you won’t see the pain in my eyes if ever it’s not me that is meant for you

By then I’ll be thankful because God taught me to love like this thru you

If you happen to read this, may your heart know that someone loves you like the way I do

Someone sees you beyond your outer shade and sees your true beauty inside

That you’ll see that when it comes to love, earthly standards subside

What remains are things that don’t fade in time

Things that exist only in the heart
