How did John`s testimony prepare people to receive Jesus and His message? John prepared the people to recieve Jesus that someone is coming more greater than him. That is why they should repent and be baptise with water.

Why was sending Jesus to live on earth such an effective way for God to tell people about Himself? It was the most effective way as God sent His Only Son, His Own Blood, to testify for Him, Our Father and Creator. It surpassed any other witnesses and prophecies who testified for Him. It was Jesus Himself who came down and joined His people and lived with His people!
