Why did John introduce Jesus as "the Lamb of God"?

John introduced Jesus as "the Lamb of God" because only through Jesus, all sinners will be saved. God gave sign to John that Jesus will baptised with the Holy Spirit because He is God and John can only baptised sinners with water. John wanted to let all sinners know that only Jesus can save them.

Jesus took careful time to explain all things about his death and resurrection. Does this give you confidence in his words and promises, knowing he and others had predicted his death and resurrection? "Beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, he explained to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself."

yes, all these predicted thousands of years ago by the prophets....therefore, it is true that God came to earth in the flesh of Lord Jesus Christ to save us sinners.

How does Jesus` answer to the robber make you feel? "Assuredly I tell you, today you will be with me in Paradise."

Very touched, unafraid and extremely joyful that I am saved from hell and forever be in heaven with the Lord!
