If you were one of the disciples, what impact would this experience have on you? I would be truly blessed that I am chosen to hear from God. I would go out into the world to preach the good news to all!

Jesus was commited to sacrifice his own life. What did he mean by the statement, "For who ever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel will save it"? Jesus meant that whoever follows and obeys his teachings, spread the good news to the lost, help the poor and sufferings, and if, as a result like Apostle Paul died for the sake of Christ, will be saved. Whereas those who knew the gospel and yet hang on to worldly pleasures first will not be able to taste eternal life in heaven.

What is "the Christ"? How is it different than one of the prophets? "the Christ" is the chosen one by God as predicted in the Old Testament, born to a virgin, (God in flesh) to spread the good news to all mankind so that we can have a relationship with God through Christ Jesus to be saved from death(sins) and have eternal life in heaven.
