Why did Jesus allow Judas to betray Him, when He clearly knew Judas` evil intention? Jesus allowed Judas to betray Him because because the scripture had to come true. Again, This betrayel was going to lead Jesus to the cross with its sin bearing and seperation from the father (My God, My God why have you forsaken Me?). Jesus knew that all this suffering ahead is to glorify His father in heaven.
