What did Jesus mean when He said one can live even if he dies? Bonus question: Why did Jesus weep when He knew He would raise Lazarus? This means that anyone who believes in Jesus, even though he dies physically, he will receive eternal life. Though Jesus knew he would raise Lazarus he wept because though Jesus was God, He was also a man. Through this remark it is made known to us that at times Jesus expressed human emotions also.
