How is the Holy Spirit like rivers of living water? The Holy Spirit is never at rest just like the the rivers of living water. Once it dwells in a person, the person is saved from death to life. The person starts producing the fruits of the Spirit, it changes the life of the person from old to new. He changes from the world of flesh to the word of life. The spirit quenches the thirst and remains permanently. The spirit helps in sanctifying the body and soul.
