Jesus took careful time to explain all things about his death and resurrection. Does this give you confidence in his words and promises, knowing he and others had predicted his death and resurrection? "Beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, he explained to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself."

İt gives me confidence to believe and all the little signs and encouragements that Jesus gives me day to day also make me beliveve.

Why do you suppose they were filled with fear then comforted by Jesus eating food?

They were filled with fear because they thought it was a spirit. Jesus ate some food to proove that he was real and there is no need to fear. It is also a proof that what Jesus said is true, " On the third day I will be raised from the dead."
