Jesus took careful time to explain all things about his death and resurrection. Does this give you confidence in his words and promises, knowing he and others had predicted his death and resurrection? "Beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, he explained to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself."

I believe in everything that is said by the prophets from the time of Old Testament to the New Testament, Every single thing that is said by Jesus through scriptures. Every single thing that is said about the days to come. Yes, I believe that Jesus will come again with Mighty Power and Glory.

Why were fulfillment of prophecies important? "note: Jesus predicted his death and resurrection? "...saying that the Son of Man must be delivered up into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again...". There are also many accounts in the old testament describing the death and resurrection of the Messiah hundreds to thousands of years before the event.

It was important because this is a proof to everyone that all what the prophets preached were not of their own but, it was the word of God spoken by them through God's spirit. Only God can predict everything in advance, not man. All what the prophets said came true because all this was planned by God and only God.
