Before the prophets proclaimed the good news, it was the law of the pharisees, Jesus condemned their law because the law was in favour of their tradition. The Pharisees only taught the law but didnt practice it. The law according to the prophets through Jesus' teaching is that any one who divorces one's wife and marries another, commits adultery, and he who marries one who is divorced from a husband commits adultery. This is how it relates to the guilt and condemnation of divorce.
