Why did Jesus forgive the man`s sins first, and heal afterward? One has to be spiritually clean in order to be healed. Therefore the man was forgiven first of his sins and later healed. It was also a hint to the Scribes and the Pharisees that jesus possesed God's power. They had also condemned Jesus of blasphemy. This could also be the reason why Jesus forgived the man first.
