Luke starts Jesus` story with the prediction of the birth of John the Baptist. According to Luke, what did the angel Gabriel predict as the future role of John the Baptist?

Angel Gabriel predicted that John will bring back many of the people of Israel to the Lord their God. He will go ahead of the Lord, strong and mighty like the prophet Elijah. He will bring fathers and childrens together again; he will turn the desobedient people back to the way of thinking of the righteous and to make the people ready and prepared for the coming of the very great person, Lord Jesus.

If you were Mark, writing a short report to demonstrate to a Roman audience that Jesus (a Jewish man) was "the Son of God", what would you include in that report?

İ would definatly include that he performed miracles and what they were. İ would imclude his teaching and his promise that if people believe in him they will be saved.
