Why did the soldiers mock Jesus? When Jesus was questioned if He was the King of the Jews, He answered, 'So you say'. Therefore they mocked His claim to be King by placing thorned crown and scarlet dress, etc. All this was due to envy. They did not like to see Jesus as a King or a Son Of God.

Why did the soldiers mock Jesus? Because Jesus given answer to them i am king of Jews.and Son of God and the i will distroy the temple and within three days i will built again that meaning these people do not know that is why the soldiers mock Jesus.
