Jesus, rebuked the disciples for being fearful. How should they have responsed to the storm?

They should have remained cool because Jesus was with them. though they believed in Jesus, at critical times, they doubted. This is what made Jesus angry.

Why did Jesus seem to discourage the Scribe and the disciple from following Him? Didn`t He want these two to join Him?

Jesus teaches us to place God above all things in our life. These two people gave greater priority to their personal matter. that's why Jesus commented that way. The other disciples didnt look back when Jesus called them. They left everything and followed Him.
