Peter so afrid to be identified with Jesus because what Jesus says before that word must be done .Many peop are doing sin and doing idolatry the evil spirit get jealousy that is why many people are today still afraid to identify with Jesus.

What made Peter so afraid to be identified with Jesus? Why are many people today still afraid to identify with Jesus?

Thats because He lost faith in Jesus. He knew he too would be persecuted along with Jesus for being Jesus' companion. He feared his life. Many people today are still afraid to be identified with Jesus because they believe in worldly pleasures,they do not believe in Jesus. They do not believe in one god, one baptism, one hope, one faith, one Lord, etc..
