Why did Jesus say, Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and announce the Kingdom of God?

This parable means go forward with holy spirit to anounce the kingdom of God is at near and let the dead bury their own dead spirit, a person with no spirit or not guided by the holy spirit is dead in spirit.but the person guided by the holy spirit is forwardly directing in anouncing the kingdom of God.

Why did Jesus ask his followers to pray for laborers instead of praying for a greater harvest?

Because the harvest are plenty, but the laborers are few, this parable means plenty of people are gathering together to pray, hear the gospels, attending masses, participating in church activities, joining the bible studies and choires but the administrators, the preist, the pastors, and other religious leaders are few, the congregations are getting bigger but the directors is shorts, the lord jesus is telling to the childrens of today to dedicate themselves as religious leaders.

If Jesus was at dinner with morally upright religious leaders today, what might he say they are doing wrong?

In todays religious leaders knows already this chapter it is morally upright to clean or wash the hands first before meal for good health, but may be lord Jesus will allow this traditions and the lord reads the heart of the person deep inside, if they have a character of humbleness or hypocrites.
