Why did Jesus tell the man to take up the mat and walk, even though Jesus knew this violated what the Jews permitted on the Sabbath? JESUS CHRIST has the authourity and power to tell the Man to take up the mat and walk,despite the fact that is sabbath.Remember,"The sabbath was made for man,and not man for the sabbath.Therefore the son of man is LORD also of the sabbath.mark 2:27-28.Therefore JESUS is the KING and LORD of the SABBATH inrespective of any laws.
