That the rich man can see Lazarus from Hell is both disturbing and comforting.Adds pining to the distance, though again probably the rich man is in Purgatory and seems to be still attached to his evil nature. He does not long to be with God and repent, but is envious and bossy and commands God to send him Lazarus. What's the official teaching on this?

What is the Good News, and how does this relate to guilt and condemnation of divorce? The law and the prophets before John: Jesus is the Son of God the Word made flesh and he has come to fullfill the law. Extreme statement the first part as it seems that the law does not hold anymore. Which law though? then he says that the Sacramental marriage between a man and a woman is for the rest of one's eartlhy life. the Good News is that after Jesus death and Resurrection we are all called to enter that Kingdom in whcih he has prepared a room.After John, so, we have the Baptism of the Holy Spirit which he, the last prophet, announces.Which other teachings have been given so far? these are mefrely additional or not? they are pivotal because the marriage between a man and a woman mirrors the one bewteen the soul and the Holy Spirit at Baptism. Which makes us adoptive children of God brothers and sisters of Jesus, after his Baptism via the shedding of his Blood for us. An everlasting pact, an union that continues after death differently from the earthly marriage which lasts only - though until - death parts the two.

Jesus advocates using material wealth on earth (unrighteous mammon) to gain true riches in heaven. How can you do this? Saving the money earned in high work tide and dedicate the time i have at low tide to read the Word, meditate, and contribute to various Fora.Time is money and so can be offered and made productive, we pray so, for others.
