It shows that ailments are not necessarily a punishment for our sins or the sins of the fathers (though blinded by pride and other bad weeds we are likely to act in a way that throws us and the ones around us in a pit), and that if we let Jesus heal us he can shed light on the negative the darkness that surrounds us and lead us to heaven. We need to take his light in our hearts to see that good hidden somewhere like a precious stone.

Why were the Jews so angry that Jesus claimed to exist before Abraham was born? I think the jews did not not understand what jesus said.be4 Abraham was born ,the power of God was already in existence .jesus was sent by his father,God .jesus was not working for himself and as he said i can never glorify my self .the jews were angry because they knew Abraham be4 jesus came into the world.

Why were the Jews so angry that Jesus claimed to exist before Abraham was born? Abraham died, but did not resurrect like all the other prophets. Only God is eternal and the Resurrection should have proved it to everybody.'I AM' before Abraham is the exact quote of God saying I am who I am. The eternal that preexists all existence. Nobody could say he was God His Son. Jesus did say it and even showed it repeatedly with the shedding of his own Blood.Forgiving from the cross those of the times through whose condemnation everyone redemption had to spring.They can only see his young human age and those words sound to them like a defying youthful arrogance agaisnt their white bearded long expoerienced knowledge.
