What did Jesus state as the primary purpose of the temple, and how might this apply to today?

temple of God ,not the temple of market ,is a temple we could worship and pray to God.God listen to us everywhere we pray but the temple of God is the house of God ,it was very bad to see this happen.

What skills or treasures do you have (or see) buried that could be invested for greater good?

Hidden to self too...and gradually discovered, the ability to tackle problems realistically, objectively and delicacy uprroting things at the root. Not necesserily toda (actuallly in coming week). Using the right words at the right time. God's time :)

Why was Zaccheaus so joyful when Jesus asked to stay at his house?

Let all the children come to me...he is not a sinner for being a tax collector, doing his duty (give to Caesar...). He is welcoming with open joy the gift sent from Heaven like a small child.Yesterday was doing a reading with a student of mines. She is 8 and had to read a passage called' Why is the fir tree the symbol of Christmas'?. Cause we decorate it the Catholic book said. I was going to mention Christ death on the cross made of wood: the other precious gift, Jesus humanity dying so that his divine nature could return to us in his human body. Refrained. Too young. Having rearead this: is it cause we all can climb up a tree and see the Saviour, all the small brothers and sisters of Jesus? Jesus must go into his house like any other sick one. None of us must welcome him, but we are invited to do so. When received with such a joyous response..
