Jesus answers that to be saved, it is not enough for the person to know the Lord, rather the Lord needs to know the person. What does this mean? Tricky quetsion: the Lord is oniscient so He knows everysingle thought and down to our marrow. Here 'know' means recognise: did we deny Jesus? if so he will deny us in frfont of the Father when we knock on the door. Unless we kneel and unclothe ourselves of our pride and ask genuine forgiveness. A narrow door for a big prideful heart. But we can.

Jesus small beginnings grew to have a major effect. What seemingly small things in your life can grow over time to have a big effect? Having been Baptised but having non Catholic parents, atheist/agnostic. Their love grew the seed as they had no clue as to fullfill the Baptismal promises.NB Not saying that Baptism is not fundamental.
