What are the benefits and disbenefits (costs) of worrying? 9 30 pm in the evening and a spot on real life event to comment these words. I have just finished teaching Don Andrea, who came for his first English class, tonight straight after Mass. He lives a good half an hour drive from wehre i live and after my class has a meeting to which he was late already. So no need to say that there had been no time to have a bite of dinner. Exercise on the Simple Present quetsions forms: do you like chocolate? yes, i do. Which reminded me that right today a friend of mine had come round and as i was lending her a couple of books for an exam, had very kindly brought us some bakery made chocolate busicuits filled with Nutella. As he was almost falling asleep on his exercises, patiently threading on, i dashed to the kitchen and brought them in. He had one straight away and the penultimate before going. After having gone in another room for a call, he came back hoping - secretely without expecting to find the third and last - which was there and he gobbled it up. He was not fretting but patiently pushing on toward his very late dinner and Godincidence, he founds something to sustain him along. Just perfectly spot on for today's question.

What are the benefits and disbenefits (costs) of worrying? God loves his children more than anything else and will not let them slip out of the boat. We fret and we risk falling. We must try to keep as serene as we can, knowing that Jesus is at the keel and take time to pray. Without getting too passive as we are to take up our crosses. Even Jesus, a friend told me, had to draw courage from thinking of Heaven awaiting for Him to be humanly able to take up His Calvary.
