How does Jesus respond to people who desperately seek him?

He is seeking a personal relationship with eah one. He is overpowered by the crowds seeking healing. He wants them to come out of the multitude and establish a personal relationship with him. It is not true that the power has gone, but maybe he was humanly deeply touched to 'swooning' point (must have been exhausted by all the crowds) by the humble woman trying to partake of his healing. He may have even felt some 'healing' coming from her loving touch. Her non aggressive stretching for him in total faith. A premonition of Mary Magdalene annointing?

How does Jesus react to people to tell him to go away?

He obeys and leaves the land not without entrusting the healed one with the mission to make the Word of the Lord known: look at me see what i have been healed from. Jesus does not hang around trying to nail the message with words, but shows the power of the Father and then leaves them to their lives. When they understand, they shall call on Him who healed one of them. Plants the seed and gives it time to sprout.

What does Jesus try to teach his disciples by going with them through the storm?

That they have to rely on God the father who is with Him and behind him. he speaks for him. His human nature falls asleep so that the disciples are reminded of his divine one: the Father speaks through him.
