Why does God appreciate prayers in secret more than public prayers?

Again becaiuse prayer is a relationship with God. True that praying together is a very powerful binding cementing experience in a community praying for a common cause. But when we pray to God on our own, God wants to listen to our hearst. It`s the earnest quality of our striving to be rightful plead that matters. Not making a show of flawed piety. What matters is a genuine approach made of humility and acceptance of God`s will rooted in strongly gfelt charity and a self atriving for righteousness. please i am pleading for this but your will be done. you know Loving Father what is righteous and best. And i humbly accept whatever.

Why is giving in secret more to be commended that giving where people can see it?

Beacuse the main thing is to help the needy ones. The Lord will know. We don`t do that to boost the ego in front of the earthly important people. That risks becoming more a way to show off our financial higher position aiming at gaining more support from those holding finmacial and or political power. The needy ones become a tool and the intentiosn are not pure. Also that can blind as to where the help is truly needed. Political interests risk diverting the focus even in potentially dangerous directions forbidden by the Bible. Placing the emphasis on men`s rather than God`s approval. It doesnt stem from a clearr and clearly thinking conscience.

What makes it so difficult to love our enemies? Bonus Question: What happens when we love our enemies?

Forgive our trespasses as we forgive those who trespassed against us. We don`t retain their misgivings and so the Lord forgives ours. That is a wonderful gift. It`s not easy to love somebody who harmed you and if left uncontrolled, even the slightest harm done to the `i` becomes a major one. And the `i` gradually grows into an `I`. Also our hearts and minds become burdened with anger resentment and all sort of bad feeligs that risk taking hold on us and make us act harmfully toward others, especially the weaker ones. If you do this to one of my little bretherns Jesus said...Without learning to forget and forgive we cannot grow in Charity.
