Annointed to be sacrificed on the altar for the sins of us all.He is the embodied fullfillment of the promises like He was when he was incarnated in man. In a way so it is a man religion as God made Himself into a man for our salvation. But that man was God and if the priest turns towards us men that does not mean that thas Sacrifice come from us. So it is a God religion and the liturgy still reminds us of that.
