Given the scandals associated with the women Tamar, Rahab, Ruth and the wife of Uriah (Bathsheba), why do you think they were mentioned in the geneology of Jesus? The scandals are the beginnng, the end is where we get the lesson e.g. Psalm 51 shows us how to repent from one`s wrongdoings and ask for forgiveness from God. This shows how God wipes the slate of sin if one repents earnestly.
