I think this was the woman who was going to the tomb everyday to look after Jesus' body, and He showed Himself to her first, because that morning, she was there first before the disciples. I don't think that Jesus can refuse to reveal Himself to anyone because of status!

What do you think the disciples felt when they saw the tomb was empty? They felt fear at first, because none of them could remember at that time what Jesus used to prophesy upon Himself, so they did not think of the ressurection. Instead they tought that someone, probably the high priests, had stolen the body. They were full of fear!

When Jesus said, "it is finished", what did "it" refer to? That is, what was finished? The budden of sin that mankind used to carry around before anyone could declare him/her clean.
