The boy`s father said to Jesus, "I do believe; help my unbelief." How does Jesus respond to the father`s honest request for help with unbelief? What does this teach you?

Jesus respects not onlt that man's disbelief, but acknwoledges the cry of everybody who confesses his/her sin before Him. This man confessed his disbelief to Jesus, and He took it upon Himself to forgive,because who ever covers his sin before the Lord shall be uncovered before men. I think its better to lie to the whole world, that is, if you are a big time liar, but please, always confess, and tell your creator ALONE the whole truth because, after all He knows us from the inside before we speak it.

Jesus was commited to sacrifice his own life. What did he mean by the statement, "For who ever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel will save it"?

Its because for one to be in Christ, it takes giving up what may seem best for you, but it's not Kingdom like. One has to choose to bear the cross, and follow the Christ in order to be saved and find the true life in Him.

What was Jesus trying to teach the disciples? Note: Jesus left twelve baskets full when he fed the 5000 people on the Israel side (Israel had 12 main regions or tribes).

I think Heas trying to tell them that God willa lways be mindful of these twelve tribes, to feed, and to provide for them.
