Only Jesus can bring all the man desires for and give lasting peace and joy in the midst of all unjustice and suffering here on earth because it was Jesus who suffered first. His love can change every human life... Looks to me more as if Jesus was trying to distance himself from his mother instead of creating a 'spiritual family'. He did the same thing at the wedding when changing water into wine. Cut the umbilical cord!
