What does Jesus say causes joy in heaven?

Jesus said that the Heavens will rejoice once one lost sheep turns back to its shepherd. When we denounce our rebellion and turn back to our craetor, there is Joy and celebration in Heven, because we have finally accepted to submit to our main authority.

How does the host respond when people reject his dinner invitation in order to pursue their possessions and relationships?

The host was both frustrated and disappointed, that's why He sent for the unworthy to dine with Him. This host is one person who wants to be given first priority to serve His purpose. Whenever you excuse Him for something else, He becomes jelous.

What does it mean to be rich toward God?

I think God is the richest person, because all belongs to Him. To be towards God, could mean to be contented in what He has given you, and use it to His accountability, for building His Kingdom regardless of being a believer or not.
