What a lovely day

The weather is glorious here today. Warm sunshine and a cloudless sky. The kind of day that when you go outdoors for the first time and inhale you kinda feel filled with freshness. Well that`s the way Jesus makes me feel, all the time, regardless of the weather. My aches and pains and worries are gone and everything feels renewed when I let him in. I wish the whole world could set aside all their fears and quarrels and pains just for one day and let Jesus in their hearts. One day of that kind of experience would be enough to soften the hardest of stones for eternity .......

What is compassion, and do you possess it?

Compassion is a gift which allows us to understand, feel and desire to heal the suffering of others. I do not want to possess compassion, because than i could control it. If i could control it then it would be at the mercy of my temperment. Being moved with compassion, he stretched out his hand, and touched him... Jesus was moved by compassion. He is controlled by compassion. It is the compassion for others which control the things he say and the things he does. No i don`t possess compassion but i pray that little to little, the gift of compassion will come and control me.
