Why are Jesus` followers called "children of light"? Jesus taught people that He is light. Those who believed Him accepted His teachings/ light and passed it down generations until it reached us. We need to keep the light burning so that it will give direction to generations to come. When Jesus comes to judge the living and the dead, children of light will not go into judgement.

Why are Jesus` followers called "children of light"? When one believes what Jesus taught one moves from darkness to light. Jesus is the light , so whoever believes in Him is a child of light.
