Why did the Pharisees call Jesus a "deceiver"?

The Pharisees were not believers, and therefore had every right to call Jesus whatever they chose. They had called Him a deciever before the crucification and I do not think they would have got better words after. They simply did not want people to believe in the ressurection if it happened because, though they spoke negatively on Jesus, these people knew in their hearts that He was not like any other prophet they had seen before.

What do you think might have led Joseph of Arimathaea to be a disciple of Jesus?

Joseph of Arimathea must have been one of the many disciples of Jesus who were not mentioned among the twelve. He might have believed the Gospel, or trusted Jesus to be a Son of God, and thus became His disciple.

Why did those who passed by mock Jesus?

These people mocked Jesus because they could not believe that the man who was healing, and raising the dead, was held up on the cross. Some were eager to see the next miracle Jesus could perform, in order to free Himself from His captors, and they were indeed disappointed.
