The miracles, signs, and wonders Jesus performed were not like any other miracles that had been seen before during the days of the prophets. John the Baptist himself testified as he was baptising Jesus at the Jordan. The Spirit of God descended upon Jesus in form of a dove, and He heard the voice of God, " this is my Son in whom I delight.....". The same that John had come to prepare a way. Jesus preached love, reconciliation, forgiveness, and other things that made a difference from the earlier prophets, remember most of them just delivered God's massage to His people without interceding for them. Best of all, Jesus is the only one in the bible who preaches life after death, promises eternal life, sent directly from the Father, and has His power to rule the earth, as He said in His teachings. Eternal life is a life complete. As Jesus said, He came to give us a life, but one which is complete because it's only with Him that one can live completely. Ordinary life consisits of death. In this case a death forever, but when one has eternal life which is only got through Jesus Christ, death can only be physical. You simply get rid of the body and bounce into the next life. Eternal life can never be taken away from someone unlike this ordinary life. Remember Jesus said that those who have put aside everything for His sake shall not only recieve 100% on earth, but even 100% in Heaven. What are the things that testify, or tell us, about Jesus?
