Jesus knew the problems associated with divorce. Today about 40% of marriages fail and the partners often remarry several times. The resulting children are conditioned to expect "divorce" in their own lives.

I am a Catholic and my parish priest was divorced with the blessing of the Church due to his wife being "sexual immoral".He is now a priest and has just celebrated the birth of his grand daughter. How can this be?

These situations are, in my opinion, the basis of great stress and directly caused by not obeying the principle that marriage is for life as required by Jesus.
