Why do think Jesus chose, after to show Himself first to Mary Magdalene?

Perhaps this act continues the work of Jesus is promoting the position of women. The old Jewish faith had given women a lower status to the men.

What do you think the disciples felt when they saw the tomb was empty?

They would have felt initial anger, thinking that the special guards, paid by the high priests, would have stolen, Jesus.

Confusion, until they recalled Jesus prediction of "rising from the dead in 3 days"

Joy and confidence when some of them saw Jesus and were told how the scriptures had been forefilled.
