On the other hand the Pharisees witnessed the same miracle, but were blind to the significance of this relative to who Jesus was to them. In order to believe in Jesus and His words and actions, we need to pray for the ability to do this. It would be true to say, that not all the Pharisees agreed that curing the blind man on the Sabbath, was a sin. Jesus' time had come and He was directly challenging the "old law" to force these matters to be openly considered. Therefore Jesus healed the blind man, on the Sabbath. The blind man, was a neutral observer and his comments meant more than from one of Jesus' disciples.
