How can a person determine they are one of the sheep cared for by Jesus?

A person knows he is one of the sheep cared for by Jesus if he is able to do the following;

1) To want to be a sheep of Jesus.

2) By realisng how weak we are and the lacking of understanding we have in determining the reason for our living. Man can never create anything we can only try to use the continual process of God's creation.

3) The most important way, a person knows he is a sheep cared for by Jesus, is when he/she tries to live their lives according to the word of Jesus.

Why did Jesus cause those who see to become blind?

Jesus, used the example of the blind man, who believed in him, after he was given his sight and then saw who had done this.

On the other hand the Pharisees witnessed the same miracle, but were blind to the significance of this relative to who Jesus was to them.

In order to believe in Jesus and His words and actions, we need to pray for the ability to do this.

Why did Jesus insist on healing on the Sabbath when the Pharisees taught this was sin?

It would be true to say, that not all the Pharisees agreed that curing the blind man on the Sabbath, was a sin.

Jesus' time had come and He was directly challenging the "old law" to force these matters to be openly considered. Therefore Jesus healed the blind man, on the Sabbath.

The blind man, was a neutral observer and his comments meant more than from one of Jesus' disciples.
