The original commandment, number one, was Love the Lord your God with all your heart and your soul and mind. Jesus adds that we should love eachother- love all of mankind. There was a time singing achildrens song at youth that made me click with the difference, really simple but meaningful, we can't just love God, we must love others. jesus or a magician? we know a magician is an illusionist but jesus was a miricle worker. we as humans can be fooled by a magician same as the way the devil can make us see things that are not real but jesus shows the way and works every day in our lives yes its easy to loose faith when things look down and out but talking through experiences in my life i know he is there looking over me. I have most of my life been critical of god and jesus and its only bad times drew me closer to ask him for his love and help. I now pray he enters my body forever as most of non believers would never have survived my ordeals without christ. never loose hope and dont ask jesus for a miricle he will do that when he thinks your worthy of him and believe. we dont see electricity but do we dare to put fingers in a power board? truth is i was bought up in a boys home and bashed and abused daily by carers who were servents of god or proposed to as in salvation army so i rebeled against god but i was blind now i see that these people were sent there by the devil tricking others they were servents of god. This is first time i made this public and again god i believe told me to expose that to you all for an insight of first hand experiences the good will be rewarded the evil punished and justice will prevail

Why does Jesus call "Love One Another" a "New" commandment?
The song went something like, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul and all your mind and love all of mankind as you would love yourself." simple but Important.
We must love our brothers and sisters in Christ and those in the ungodly multitude, I feel that is the reason behind why Jesus also taught to Love your enemies and pray for those who mistreat and persecture you...

Why does Jesus call "Love One Another" a "New" commandment? It is very difficult to love another person and you can only do that when you look at the other person through the eyes of Jesus and I think therefore he expect that from you. It is not a choice for you it is an commandment. By loving other people you also show your love for Jesus. Jesus saw and even today there is a lot of hate against each other. To love each other was not a new commandment but to love like Jesus that was the new commandment.
