1025 entries for this category: To be loved by God means that through Jesus we are loved by God. In all those verses that are mentioned there is nothing there indicating that to be loved by God is something of us. Rather it is because of Jesus, that we are loved. How hard of a concept is this for me? Is it like when we look in the mirror we see ourselves, yet God sees Jesus. We are hidden in Jesus. So being loved by God means that we will hear his voice, have a path to follow, not perish, not be snatched, we will abide in him, have eternal life, we will see God himself and he will live within us. This seems too powerful for me.... but its the TRUTH! "According to Jesus, what does it mean to be loved by God?"

Define "Compassion"? Compassion is having eyes for injustice and then acting. Compassion is a verb - it carries not only emotion, being moved, but also then acting on that.

Does Jesus believe lowly people are valuable? How valuable? Absolutelty! Lowly people are as if not in some ways more valuable to Jesus (I know we're all equal in his sight).... When I say more valuable I mean in the sense of what the world views as important (wealth, status, fame etc) Jesus flips this idea over and takes what is D-Class in society (poor, disabled, timid, unwell etc) and shows that he cares and loves them and their extreme importance in his eyes!
