1025 entries for this category: The path to God is love and the path to happiness is loving your neighbour. People who can love both God and his neighbour will be always happy and will reach heaven. These are the goals we need to achieve and the methods are to be found in the Gospels. The Saducces were using a key argument against "resurrection" hoping to outsmart Jesus. The answer from Jesus gives us reason for us to think as did the Sadducees. There will be no male / female relationships in Heaven and all the significant relationships on earth will be replaced with an intimate relationship with God forever. How can we be prepared for this? The question put to Jesus was believed to trap Jesus, into either supporting Rome or supporting the Jews. Either answer was capable of alienating one side or the other for Jesus. Jesus switched the focus of the question by asking who owned the coins since they were produced by Caesar. Jesus was able to then seperated the earthly value of Caesar and the heavenly value of God which can be done without interfering with each other. This was a marvellous reply. How does one love God with all his heart ,soul and mind? What does it look like?
