1325 entries for this category: We now know that we are in right standing with God, so we love him. Its difficult tó love someone when we think their holding something against us. So because we are forgiven, in the clear, free.... we then freely love God. The Kingdom of God is the forecast of what is to come. That Gods divine plan for everyone is going to come to pass. I also believe it is the place where we will go. Where God's sovereignty reigns. To be loved by God means that through Jesus we are loved by God. In all those verses that are mentioned there is nothing there indicating that to be loved by God is something of us. Rather it is because of Jesus, that we are loved. How hard of a concept is this for me? Is it like when we look in the mirror we see ourselves, yet God sees Jesus. We are hidden in Jesus. So being loved by God means that we will hear his voice, have a path to follow, not perish, not be snatched, we will abide in him, have eternal life, we will see God himself and he will live within us. This seems too powerful for me.... but its the TRUTH! How does being forgiven increase ones love for God? Note: According to Jesus, God`s forgiveness is motivated by love.
