1325 entries for this category: I feel it is to be constructive towards our borthers and sisters in Christ. There is no need to make the first approach a group or public discussion forum. You need to merely warn them, that might be the only push they need to realise what they're doing wrong. If you were to ask me what I know about Jesus today I would be able to ramble off a pretty good factual list. This list has been accumlated from growing up in a Christian home, attending church most of my life, going to Sunday school, youth group, bible studies, conferences etc. However, where Im at today, is wanting to know Jesus not with just head knowledge, but rather know him personally, deeply, intimately. But for the purpose of answering this question, I'll do my best to answer what I know about Jesus as of today: Those are factual notes of what I know of Jesus today, which have come from the bible. But as I stated above, I'm more interested in knowing more than just facts, but allowing the Jesus of these facts to be divinely revealed to me deep within.... To God be the Glory Em Why is it helpful to confront a brother alone first, before involving others in confronting him?

What did you learn about Jesus` background that stands out or surprises you? I found it surprising to read how Jesus was raised and treated like any other person in his neihbourhood, not to be singled out and treated differently for he was the son of god. It just shows how humble he really was and for Mary and Joseph to treat him no different to his other siblings.
