This means Jesus will always listen to our needs and grant them, if at all possible. Jesus was teaching the disciples that bread for their spiritual life is meant to come from Him and not from Ceasar or Herod. His message or "bread" is meant for all including the 12 tribes of the Jews. The meaning of signs is up to the viewer. If people believed that Jesus was the son ogf God, they required no signs. I require no signs. Why do you think Jesus brought the man ouside the village before performing the miracle?
