约翰所著的耶稣传记——第3章 有一个法利赛人,名叫尼哥底母,是犹太人的官。 (3:1) 这人夜里来见耶稣,说,拉比,我们知道你是由神那里来作师傅的。因为你所行的神迹,若没有神同在,无人能行。 (3:2) 耶稣回答说,我实实在在地告诉你,人若不重生,就不能见神的国。 (3:3) 尼哥底母说,人已经老了,如何能重生呢?岂能再进母腹生出来吗? (3:4) 耶稣说,我实实在在地告诉你,人若不是从水和圣灵生的,就不能进神的国。 (3:5) 从肉身生的,就是肉身。从灵生的,就是灵。 (3:6) 我说,你们必须重生,你不要以为希奇。 (3:7) 风随着意思吹,你听见风的响声,却不晓得从哪里来,往哪里去。凡从圣灵生的,也是如此。 (3:8) 尼哥底母问他说,怎能有这事呢? (3:9) 耶稣回答说,你是以色列人的先生,还不明白这事吗? (3:10) 我实实在在地告诉你,我们所说的,是我们知道的,我们所见证的,是我们见过的。你们却不领受我们的见证。 (3:11) 我对你们说地上的事,你们尚且不信,若说天上的事,如何能信呢? (3:12) 除了从天降下仍旧在天的人子,没有人升过天。 (3:13) 摩西在旷野怎样举蛇,人子也必照样被举起来。 (3:14) 叫一切信他的都得永生。(或作叫一切信的人在他里面得永生) (3:15) 神爱世人,甚至将他的独生子赐给他们,叫一切信他的,不至灭亡,反得永生。 (3:16) 因为神差他的儿子降世,不是要定世人的罪,(或作审判世人下同)乃是要叫世人因他得救。 (3:17) 信他的人,不被定罪。不信的人,罪已经定了,因为他不信神独生子的名。 (3:18) 光来到世间,世人因自己的行为是恶的,不爱光倒爱黑暗,定他们的罪就是在此。 (3:19) 凡作恶的便恨光,并不来就光,恐怕他的行为受责备。 (3:20) 但行真理的必来就光,要显明他所行的是靠神而行。 (3:21) 这事以后,耶稣和门徒到了犹太地,在那里居住施洗。 (3:22) 约翰在靠近撒冷的哀嫩也施洗,因为那里水多。众人都去受洗。 (3:23) 那时约翰还没有下在监里。 (3:24) 约翰的门徒,和一个犹太人辩论洁净的礼。 (3:25) 就来见约翰说,拉比,从前同你在约但河外,你所见证的那位,现在施洗,众人都往他那里去了。 (3:26) 约翰说,若不是从天上赐的,人就不能得什么。 (3:27) 我曾说,我不是基督,是奉差遣在他前面的,你们自己可以给我作见证。 (3:28) 娶新妇的,就是新郎。新郎的朋友站着听见新郎的声音就甚喜乐。故此我这喜乐满足了。 (3:29) 他必兴旺,我必衰微。 (3:30) 从天上来的,是在万有之上。从地上来的,是属乎地,他所说的,也是属乎地从天上来的,是在万有之上。 (3:31) 他将所见所闻的见证出来,只是没有人领受他的见证。 (3:32) 那领受他见证的,就印上印,证明神是真的。 (3:33) 神所差来的,就说神的话。因为神赐圣灵给他,是没有限量的。 (3:34) 父爱子,已将万有交在他手里。 (3:35) 信子的人有永生。不信子的人得不着永生,(原文作不得见永生)神的震怒常在他身上。 (3:36) [ 章节 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | 10 | 11 | 12 | 13 | 14 | 15 | 16 | 17 | 18 | 19 | 20 | 21 | ]

John 3
Jesus Teaches Nicodemus Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. The same came to him by night, and said to him, "Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that you do, unless God is with him." Jesus answered him, "Most certainly, I tell you, unless one is born anew, he can't see the Kingdom of God." Nicodemus said to him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb, and be born?" Jesus answered, "Most certainly I tell you, unless one is born of water and spirit, he can't enter into the Kingdom of God! That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Don't marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born anew.' The wind blows where it wants to, and you hear its sound, but don't know where it comes from and where it is going. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit." Nicodemus answered him, "How can these things be?" Jesus answered him, "Are you the teacher of Israel, and don't understand these things? Most certainly I tell you, we speak that which we know, and testify of that which we have seen, and you don't receive our witness. If I told you earthly things and you don't believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things? No one has ascended into heaven, but he who descended out of heaven, the Son of Man, who is in heaven. As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him. He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn't believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God. This is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their works were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the light, and doesn't come to the light, lest his works would be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his works may be revealed, that they have been done in God." John the Baptist's Testimony About Jesus After these things, Jesus came with his disciples into the land of Judea. He stayed there with them, and baptized. John also was baptizing in Enon near Salim, because there was much water there. They came, and were baptized. For John was not yet thrown into prison. There arose therefore a questioning on the part of John's disciples with some Jews about purification. They came to John, and said to him, "Rabbi, he who was with you beyond the Jordan, to whom you have testified, behold, the same baptizes, and everyone is coming to him." John answered, "A man can receive nothing, unless it has been given him from heaven. You yourselves testify that I said, 'I am not the Christ,' but, 'I have been sent before him.' He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom's voice. This, my joy, therefore is made full. He must increase, but I must decrease. He who comes from above is above all. He who is from the Earth belongs to the Earth, and speaks of the Earth. He who comes from heaven is above all. What he has seen and heard, of that he testifies; and no one receives his witness. He who has received his witness has set his seal to this, that God is true. For he whom God has sent speaks the words of God; for God gives the Spirit without measure. The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into his hand. One who believes in the Son has eternal life, but one who disobeys the Son won't see life, but the wrath of God remains on him."
