路加所著的耶稣传记——耶稣的死 那时约有午正，遍地都黑暗了，直到申初， (23:44) 日头变黑了。殿里的幔子从当中裂为两半。 (23:45) 耶稣大声喊着说，父阿，我将我的灵魂交在你手里。说了这话，气就断了。 (23:46) 百夫长看见所成的事，就归荣耀与神说，这真是个义人。 (23:47) 聚集观看的众人，见了这所成的事，都捶着胸回去了。 (23:48) 还有一切与耶稣熟识的人，和从加利利跟着他来的妇女们，都远远地站着，看这些事。 (23:49) 路加 23:44-49

Jesus' Death
It was now about the sixth hour, and darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour. The sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was torn in two. Jesus, crying with a loud voice, said, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!" Having said this, he breathed his last. When the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, "Certainly this was a righteous man." All the multitudes that came together to see this, when they saw the things that were done, returned home beating their breasts. All his acquaintances, and the women who followed with him from Galilee, stood at a distance, watching these things. Luke 23:44-49
