马可所著的耶稣传记——彼得三次不认主 彼得在下边，院子里，来了大祭司的一个使女。 (14:66) 见彼得烤火，就看着他说，你素来也是同拿撒勒人耶稣一伙的。 (14:67) 彼得却不承认，说，我不知道，也不明白你说的是什么。于是出来，到了前院。鸡就叫了。 (14:68) 那使女看见他，又对旁边站着的人说，这也是他们一党的。 (14:69) 彼得又不承认。过了不多的时候，旁边站着的人又对彼得说，你真是他们一党的。因为你是加利利人。 (14:70) 彼得就发咒起誓地说，我不认得你们说的这个人。 (14:71) 立时鸡叫了第二遍。彼得想起耶稣对他所说的话，鸡叫两遍以先，你要三次不认我。思想起来，就哭了。 (14:72) 马可 14:66-72

Peter Disowns Jesus
As Peter was in the courtyard below, one of the maids of the high priest came, and seeing Peter warming himself, she looked at him, and said, "You were also with the Nazarene, Jesus!" But he denied it, saying, "I neither know, nor understand what you are saying." He went out on the porch, and the rooster crowed. The maid saw him, and began again to tell those who stood by, "This is one of them." But he again denied it. After a little while again those who stood by said to Peter, "You truly are one of them, for you are a Galilean, and your speech shows it." But he began to curse, and to swear, "I don't know this man of whom you speak!" The rooster crowed the second time. Peter remembered the word, how that Jesus said to him, "Before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times." When he thought about that, he wept. Mark 14:66-72
