马可所著的耶稣传记——拒绝一切罪的诱惑 凡使这信我的一个小子跌倒的，倒不如把大磨石拴在这人的颈项上，扔在海里。 (9:42) 倘若你一只手叫你跌倒，就把它砍下来。 (9:43) 你缺了肢体进入永生，强如有两只手落到地狱，入那不灭的火里去。 (9:44) 倘若你一只脚叫你跌倒，就把它砍下来。 (9:45) 你瘸腿进入永生，强如有两只脚被丢在地狱里。 (9:46) 倘若你一只眼叫你跌倒，就去掉它。你只有一只眼进入神的国，强如有两只眼被丢在地狱里。 (9:47) 在那里虫是不死的，火是不灭的。 (9:48) 因为必用火当盐，腌各人。（有古卷在此有凡祭物必用盐腌） (9:49) 盐本是好的，若失了味，可用什么叫它再咸呢？你们里头应当有盐，彼此和睦。 (9:50) 马可 9:42-50

Causing to Sin
"Whoever will cause one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him if he was thrown into the sea with a millstone hung around his neck. If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having your two hands to go into Gehenna, into the unquenchable fire, 'where their worm doesn't die, and the fire is not quenched.' If your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life lame, rather than having your two feet to be cast into Gehenna, into the fire that will never be quenched--'where their worm doesn't die, and the fire is not quenched.' If your eye causes you to stumble, cast it out. It is better for you to enter into the Kingdom of God with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into the Gehenna of fire, 'where their worm doesn't die, and the fire is not quenched.' For everyone will be salted with fire, and every sacrifice will be seasoned with salt. Salt is good, but if the salt has lost its saltiness, with what will you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with one another." Mark 9:42-50
