Pilate physically tortured and beat Jesus beyond recognition seeking to satisfy the Jewish leaders. However the Jews demanded that Jesus be crucified. Pilate resisted but eventually gave the order to execute Jesus

Jesus` death was planned from before He was even born. I think He wanted people and His disciples to know what to expect where His death was concerned.

No - He was stating the facts as he was to sent uphold. His doing so is the reason we all have a chance at eternal life with him. We just have to believe and follow HIM.

I don`t think he was trying to incite his death. It was God`s plans anyway that his Son would die for us and he would do so to forgive us from our sins. I think what he did in the temple was because he was fed up of seeing people acting like they did. Even if he didn`t act like this, he would die the same way on the cross

Absolutely! He was fulfilling the prophesies of the Old Testament just the way He was born to do. I STILL don`t understand why the Jews refuse to this day to recognize Him as the Messiah. Can anybody tell me why?
