GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD
God so loved the world that he sent his only son so whoever believed in him will not perish but have eternal life. Jesus christ had a mission to complete on earth. To save his own children. He also gave a warning that not everyone who calls him lord will enter the kingdom of heaven. God gave Jesus prophecy of his own death. He knew that Judas was going to betray him before his last meal. The prayer in Gethsemane was to ask God to fulfil his will to save his children. When the River Eurphrates runs dry and the kings of the East meet the West, in the valley of Jehesophat, the children will return to the greatest crime in history, the murder of Jesus Christ. The sun will turn black sackcloth, the moon will turn red and the stars will fall from the sky. The angels will then reap. The godly to go to heaven and the rest to be pressed in the winepress. The two witnesses from the messianic jews will prophesise about Jesus Christ`s second coming to his people. Those in Christ will have the promise of heaven and New Jerusalem, a new heaven and earth and no sea. The children will live in paradise.

Jesus Death
Jesus had no need to incite his death. He knew that the Father had ordained for him to die on the cross. He knew it was going to happen no matter what he did. He was teaching us to help us understand what is right and wrong in the eyes of God.

I don`t know....I really hesitate to say yes or not..at times it seems that Jesus was trying to incite his death through alot of the events that lead up to it..but HE was doing the Will of the Father...it had to be done...so I guess it was just a part of God`s plan to lead up to the crucifixion & resurrection....Thank God...for the resurrection...Jesus is finally over all the pain He endured...and Is almost time for Him to return to the right hand of the Father...and Salvation is done for all who believe.

Was Jesus trying to incite his death (eg. temple cleansing, accusation of leaders?)
Jesus knew his fate, so he kept on doing God`s work. He knew he had to do this because of the sins which we committ daily, he had to save us by dying on the cross. He was tortured for us, because of the way we live our lives without love. He did all these things so that we might repent and be saved and accept him as our personal friend and saviour. Thank you Lord for all you have done and is still doing for us.

He gave everybody an oportunity of salvation, everybody then ''as in now'' but then the people from Israel did not recognized Him as their Mesiah. The son of God. Even after all they saw him do and say. So Jesus was only doing what He was comanded to do by God his father. It was men who incited his death. Pilate even try to mediate so men could have a satisfaction and men wanted more. It is then as in now what drives this world, we men, want more and more of everything that is wrong as then when they knew it was wrong. But the Resurection is the key for us now, and it is the key for this world now and for ever. If we all would belive in Jesus resurrection, we could all see. It was God`s will that His son died, and the Son acomplished it for all of us. Now and then we can see the true dimension of things through the life and death of Jesus....let`s all belive and re-open the gates of heaven.

Jesus was only keeping to the script that was written long before His own birth. It was necessary for Him to draw attention to what was to come so that the believers would grow strong in their faith with each predicted thing happening.

OK, so Jesus did not stop His own death, but could he not have blocked out the pain? I`ll answer my own question, see if you agree. The pain and humiliation the Jesus suffered was the sum of our sins falling on Him. Without the pain, suffering and hum

Maybe not. Jesus had said when and how he would die. Yes, He could have taken some form of defensive action, but that`s not why He came, is it? Imagine if Jesus had said No, and stopped the whole issue. We wouldn`t have this course, because there would be no Saviour to follow. No resurection to give us eternal life. No way of coming to the Father. Maybe Jesus was using the short time that He had, to show what things were really like in the temple.
