Jesus Says God Forgives You if You Ask
God does forgive when we ask, it was for that very reason that Jesus came to this earth to set the sinners free, making us sinless in a sinful world. The ideal is to turn away from sin, we read in the latter part of Matthew 9:13 when Jesus says that He did not come to call the righteous to repentance but sinners. In Mark 2:5 Jesus said to the sick thy sins have been forgiven, we read in further scriptures when He says thy sins have been forgiven go and sin no more, I believe that we need to remember that we should sin no more, we are born with the sinful nature birthed in our spirits we all fall short of the Glory of God but we should strive to live a sinless life.

How does being forgiven increase ones love for God? Note: According to Jesus, God`s forgiveness is motivated by love.
cause you know you didn`t deserve it but God did it anyways for you, because you had a debt that it would take an eternity to pay and our loving God loved us enough to pay it for us then forgive us it if we`d only ask.I don`t know about you but that makes me feel really close and loved by Him and because of that I in turn love Him so for making such a sacrifice for me.

Suppose you are indebted to a person for some amount and you are not in a position to repay it, and you approach the person about your situation and the person says that you don`t have to pay anything, you will honor him above all. In your spiritual life God forgave all your sins that you were born with and all that you added during your life. Your love for Him will increase more and more.

It increases Gods love, because if you forgive others who offended you and cover everything with love, God will forgive you too if you ask and He becomes happy because you folloe his command.

It is very difficult to forgive someone who has hurt us but thank God for He is there to help us to overcome our feeling and help us to forgive them. Without God`s help I think most of us find it difficult to do it. That`s why I think God`s love is very great. He shower us with unconditional love without fail. God is great. God is great. Halelujah!

it sometimes makes me wonder and think alot becuase there are somethings that I don`t understand. I also sometimes doubt that what He is saying is true. I guess my problems in life are clouding my faith. But His words do put meaning into my life.

But since he did not have the means to repay, his lord commanded him to be sold a, along with his wife and children and all that he had, and repayment to be made. The slave therefore falling down, prostrated himself before him, saying, 'Have patience with me, and I will repay you everything.'
